A Kitchen Cabinet Transformation in Time for Thanksgiving

The Problem

A homeowner reached out to ask about painting their existing clear-finished wood kitchen cabinets. The timing and logistics were the real challenge: they were already working with a carpenter and a countertop contractor, needed everyone to coordinate seamlessly, and still had to use their kitchen daily — all with Thanksgiving fast approaching.

The Solution

We designed a plan that respected both the home and the schedule. To avoid disrupting daily life or other trades, we built a dedicated spray booth outside the home using a rented portable storage container (JumpBox, a partner we often work with on interior projects). Inside the container, we installed space heaters to maintain proper airflow and temperature for a flawless finish.

Inside the home, we temporarily relocated kitchen appliances to keep the space functional for cooking and daily use. We carefully coordinated our work with the other contractors, ensuring everyone could stay on schedule without overlap or delays. With a clear plan in place and all obstacles removed, we delivered a high-quality, two-tone cabinet transformation.

The Results

The finished cabinets are backed by our 3-year workmanship warranty, and the transformation was dramatic. Through thoughtful color consultation, we helped bring the homeowner’s vision to life — turning a dated 1990s kitchen into a modern, cohesive space with strong resale appeal.
